go to a different place that doesn't put it on rollers. All you are required to do is a "snap" test. No dyno test.

nope all diesel here in Colorado if in a area that need the test go to the rollers no more snap test in Colorado for diesels

I don't go to 5th gear until I hit 50-55mph. SOunds like he's lugging the motor. 4th gear at 40mph is the correct operation of the truck.

Can someone find and copy the FSM that states the proper operation of the truck through the gears. Then ColoradoSlim can copy it and take it in with him.

I agree with the vote to unhook the AFC line, although at that RPM there may not be any boost being made...


It's the line that connects the two green fittings in this picture. It won't look like that, since those are aftermarket fittings, but it's there.



Make sure they're testing your truck in 4th gear if they're not allowed to downshift. That should cure any of these problems.

Well I guess I haven't looked into it in a while. I have a farm, so no emissions for me.

ya even here in the springs all diesels do the rollers now
witch is sad because no test for gasoline trucks but still got the diesel test
