1989 Chicago auto show

I was checking out the Chicago auto show website and they have a history tab with pictures from every show since 1901. Immediately went to the '89 tab and found one image of the Cummins. Below is the link if you want to check it out, it's interesting to check out some of the milestone years. The Miata was also part of the '89 show.

been going through the pictures, 1917 studebaker had a car with 8000 pure gold parts! very cool find!

Seems like only yesterday...

I remember it well. After being taunted as the Dodge/Plymouth guy all my life (25 years by then) I could finally hold my head up proud as Dodge was making a come back and making folks pay attention with the mighty Cummins.

I never was so proud when in 1994 Dad bought the last new 1993 W250 off the dealer lot. He was born in 1940 and that CTD was the first new vehicle he had ever bought (still is).
