19.5" Eagle Alloy wheels on 1st gen?

Hey guys,

Just wondering anyone has used these? You can get a full set for $1500 shipped compared to Rickson's $3000. They say on http://www.duallywheels4u.com/195ame...series058.html That they fit with no modifications to the 94-11 Dodges, but they list that they will work on 70-11 Dodges? Anyone have experiences? I'm wicked tempted. Of course if I just get a Dana 80 rear end there would be no issues at all!

I know centering your middle rim would be a little difficult, but my inner wheel isn't perfectly centered now with 1/2" spacers, and I don't have any vibrations noted. Anyway, hope someone has some experience, maybe I'll end up being a guinea pig!

I have them on my dually. They use shouldered lugs to center them. The wheels I have were different part numbers than a second gen. I don't know what the difference is between the two... I assume the bolt holes are larger on the first gen for the 5/8 studs.

I think this truck looks great with the 19.5" That price looks like a deal! I have been looking at that website for awhile. Some great deals. To bad the tires cost so much up front, but Im sure they will last. I say Go for it.

How does that work on the inner wheel? Is it a really long shoulder that goes through the dummy wheel and into the inner wheel to center it?

Hmmm, now I see them on a 1st Gen with no lift, I'm thinking they might be too big for my taste. Trendz, I assume your truck is a 4x4 (and I also assume you are making a 10ft bed? Very cool). Also, what kind/ size tires are those?

My truck is white as well, and I love my Black wheels with Mud Terrains now. They are 33" in diameter which is actually a little bigger than the 32" or so of 225/70R19.5's. I guess it's all aspect ratio?

Anyone have any other pictures of Aluminum 19.5" rims on duallys that are not white? I'm thinking I'll like them even more if it was contrasted against a dark color?

My truck is 2wd. It has new front springs, and a 1 inch body lift. The tires are 225 70 19.5.
The inner wheels were purchased on ebay (used steel wheels). They come with the stud holes the correct size, but the hub opening is to small. they must be opened up to the correct size to be hub-centric. The shouldered lugs center the outer wheel, but dont extend enough to contact the inner wheels. The inners are centered by the studs and the hub.
Yes, the truck bed is getting extended. The truck is a cab chassis(159") so the bed will be a tad over 10'.
I don't remember the loadrange, other than the fact that the combined rating far exceeded the truck's gvw. I know the loadrange for the wheel is posted on the manufacturers web page.

I had a 90 2wd with no body lift, and 19.5s. It did have new springs though. It did not rub. I never tried the wheel/tire combo without new springs.

Thanks TRENDZ. I thought your truck was a W since I saw that other white D250 with the rims jammed up into the wheel wells from the Rickson sight. Rickson had a picture of a stock lift (looking) W350 that has the stance I'm looking for. He is running 245/70R19.5 s which are 34"

I did get an email back from one of the rim shops telling me they will work on my truck even after I told them my truck is lug centric with bigger lugs. He did not mention how they are centered though. He said I had 2 options. The Eagles:http://duallywheels4u.com/195america...series058.html
and some Vision Haulers: http://duallywheels4u.com/195visionhauler181.html

Looking like the Eagles will be to my taste. Thanks for the info.

I think it might be purple. Not a huge fan on color choice, but I like the wheels on a darker truck
