16 Cm Turbo Exh Housing

I was just wondering if this is a good swap to do to on a completly stock 92 ctd and if i will notice any differnace in power or econmy ,i can get a good deal on one and wanted to pick your guys brains

Is there any mods to install? or things to look out for thanks any help would be great!

would the 16 cm housing give any more hp?

i been thinking abut getting one. does all the gaskets and bolts and other needed materials coem with it too?

You wont believe the difference a 16cm housing will make. I got mine put on. i was runnin bout 20-22 psi of boost now i can peg it out at low 30s.

depends on where you order, some places include all gaskets needed . might want to buy new bolts just for peace of mine on re assembly. great upgrade and makes it nice to drive

It will allow your turbo to spool up faster then the stock one. As for more horsepower, yes because due to this faster spool up, it is pushing more air into the motor. So, turn the pump up some and get more power. You will feel it in the 'sit of the pants' more then I think true horsepower on the dyno. Either way, get a 16 cm2 or smaller depending upon what you plan on doing for mods down the road.
