14,000lbs of scrap

Heading to the crusher.

This is about the biggest load I've ever hauled, didn't do too bad, just took it easy and left plenty of braking distance!

Very cool, looks like a good load. Those downhill corners make me nervous though.

Yeah they are the bridgestone duelers, i've only had them for ~100miles so I can't really comment on them yet. So far so good!

It was a pretty good load! And long, had about 70psi of air in the bags to set level, but that is with 2 leaves missing from the spring pack.

I only went to 3rd once down the canyon, the rest of the way I stayed in 2nd, 20 mph. But we made it!

It made it nice to tow! I didn't have to worry about blowing a bunch of smoke starting off. I never had to get into it very hard as it was mostly down hill and highway so I don't think I ever got to the ramp of the pin. But it definitely makes it easier to control smoke on the bottom end.

How much do you get to scrap a bus? is that 14k total or just the bus?

Just the bus, the trailer is probably another 4K? They paid $140/ton.

Very good load. Did you have to drag it up on the trailer or did it drive on ? I hauled a 379 Peterbuilt ( chassie only, no cab, sleeper, or front clip, tires) from Texas to Az on my tandam duel, weight was about 18,000 + trailer. Just rolled along and did not get in a hurry. Looks like the load is very centered, nice job!!!!

We pushed it on with the skidsteer, engine was froze. It was actually kind of tail heavy, hitting bumps picked up the truck pretty good.

Stock clutch, well not the stock one, but a stock replacement from Peter.

Thanks for the compliments, it was quite a load.
