1/4 camper shell
1/4 camper shell
I have seen them on a few trucks. It's like 1/4 of a camper shell that goes right behind the cab. What are they actually called? Where can I find one? Or more pics of one? What is there purpose? Are they open into the cab, or are they just a little storage and aerodynamic add-on?
It's called a sleeper, just like the big rigs. Whether it is open or not depends on how many bucks you want to part with. Heres a link http://www.mckinleyconversions.com/gallery.html . Wish I had one and I hope it was alright to post the link.

I have one on a Chevy with the rear glass removed and a "boot" that makes a weather-tight union between the cab and sleeper.
There used to be two companies in my neighborhood that manufactured them.
