Re:You're gonna love this!!

milne,
I live in Saskatoon which is 6 hrs straight east of Red Deer. There's a 93 3/4 ton LE ext. cab, a/t/c, 2wd, p/w, p/locks in the paper today. It only has 110,000 Km (67,000 miles). No price listed. I haven't seen the truck. The phone # is (306) 242-9028 if you're interested. There's a fairly decent diesel shop in town that could check it out for you as well.

YOu would have to stick with the 5 gear or put some $$ into the auto to hold that HP.. Bushy has some pretty good power and a nice rig to boot.. He would be a good one to ask about the last of the first gens with an auto. Nascar Mark has a drag racing beast, don't know if you want to go that extreme..LOL.

J-eh
[/quote]
Extreme lol. You havn't seen anything yet. :P

Re:You're gonna love this!!

When I was shopping for mine. I found mine on http://www.autotrader.com They had a number of the pre-`93 models. But, in my case, my wife and I love the newer body style. I ain't much on the 2003's though.
That is an easy way to find one. Cost you NOTHING! to look.

Re:You're gonna love this!!

Actually, I have changed my mind a little. I will go with a 94 as well. From what I gather the 94's are totally mechanical as well, is that correct?

I would like as less electronics in the cab too but not sure I can do anything about that.

Re:You're gonna love this!!

You don't get the extended cab until the 1995 model year. SO you would be interested in the 95-98.4 versions for mechanical fuel pumps.

J-eh

Re:You're gonna love this!!

Ok, once again there has been a change. I just found out that the 94 has a computerized cockpit. In light of this news, I am reverting back to my original desires: 1990-1993 model.

I know I said they were plentiful out west. I was kinda right, they are plentiful if you get to the dealer the day they go up for sale. If you go the next day, they are not plentiful. ;D

Re:You're gonna love this!!

Another side note to the new-to-Dodge crowd.. The 92-93 club cabs Don't have a rear bench.. They have pup seats that come out from the side walls.

This may or maynot change your decision depending on the passengers you are wanting to carry.

J-eh
