Who's got the most miles on a 12V?

Anyone with over 500K on there 2nd gen?

I know there was a story a while back of a guy who went over a million. I would imagine there has been plenty more since then.

A friend in Modesto CA

has 464k on a 91 CTD; it started puking oil out the back of the motor and he was sure it was the rear main or something equally un-economically feasible to fix. He gave it to his 17 year old son, thinking they would find a used gasser to put in it, and the kid figured out that all it was, was a frost plug in the back of the motor. I think the repair part cost 2 or 3 bucks.

Now the kid is putting on a 4" lift kit and lights and he is going to paint it. I have no doubt that thing will be running when we are all dead and gone, or when the oil runs out, whichever comes last.

I should have 500k on mine by March. When I started transporting 3 1/2 yrs ago it had 138k. A guy who works for the same company has over 1,000,000 on his 96.

I got 357k on mine and running strong.
I just bought it w/ 355k.
I am the second owner.

The only 'Con' is it has the usual bottom of door rust on it.
The rockers are good, but the doors are shot.
and the TC doesn't quite lock up how I would like it to either.

820

I have a local guy with 820,000 on his 96 and still going strong. So far the only issues has had were a starter, a lift pump, and had to rebuild the NV4500. And the truck tows HEAVY almost every day.

Only 370,000

Only 370,000 on mine, lots of around town driving though, drivers seat and door almost ready to fall out. Cummins engine still going strong. Guess I'll have to find another truck to transplant the Cummins into.
