white smoke and diesel leak
white smoke and diesel leak
In real cold (at least by Oklahoma standards of 10F) weather, my diesel will pour out white smoke and the last time I tried to start in this kind of weather I had a significant fuel leak coming off the back of the block.
Flash forward to this month, in warm weather I am fine, runs just like it should except that its getting 1-2 less mpg, which I assume is just a fuel stock issue. But now, when it gets down to about 40F or below, I still have white smoke for the first few seconds and it is becoming harder to start.
Any ideas? Should I just go ahead and rip out my old hoses and replace and hope that that fixes it?
