I was driving my truck the other night and i put the pedal through the floor and it blew its coal all over and then it hit liek 2200 rpms and it started blowing a whitish gray smoke and my boost dropped down to about 20 psi where as its usually at 34 no power is this a sign of a injection pump going or a lift pump what do i do where do i start to see if this is whats going on

 

I'd look for boost leaks first...

 

Well had this problem with my first cummins, and I was told that the injectors were clogged. I never got around to swapping them out because the kdp got the best of the truck before I could get to it.
