What to look for?
I will be going to look at a 96 2500 4x4 CTD standard cab long bed on monday.
It has 130k on engine and body
new tranny (goerman) with warrenty
banks power pack( i believe that is what it is)
intake
exhaust
guages
it has the exhaust housings on the turbo to up power. I believe moding on this year is all mechanical and not done with the "chips" like the newer models
what should i ask the owner??
what should i look at on the truck?
I've read the first 2 pages of posts in this forum and have learned about the Killer dowel pin and that will be my first question. At what milage do these usually fall out if the pin issue hasn't been resolved?

Can't predict when KDP will bite, could be anytime. Check front suspension real good, especially track bar (long bar, from left frame rail to right end of front axle) for looseness. Make certain the warranty on trans is transferable. Other than that, all the things you would normally check on a used vehicle.
