What fluid should I get for my front diff?

I am changing the fluid, u-joints, seals and gasket in my front diff tomorrow. What kind of fluid should I use? I was thinking Redline synthetic 80-W90. Will that work? Also how much fluid does that differential take?

Thanks,

Bob

That will work if you want synthetic. I run COASTAL 80-90W Hypoid Gear Oil up front and in back works plenty good enuff for me and is cheaper !
Not sure on how much, I just buy a gallon when I buy my stuff!

Brandon

P.S. Only fill the diff 1/2 to 3/4 below the fill hole do NOT overfill or you might get some oil seep past your inner axle seal and puke on the driveway!
