Question Weird electrical draw on engine

This has been happening for a while.....when the truck is idling, about every 20 to 30 seconds I get what seems like a huge draw of electical power. The engine slightly bogs but only for a few seconds. (It's especially noticable when the heater blower is going cuz it slows to about 1/2 speed) Then it goes back to normal.....The amp guage doesn't move when it happenes either.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Todd

Does this happen all the time or only for a minute or two after you start it in cold weather? Does it happen after the engine has warmed up?

Happens more when she's colder....but still continues after it hits operating temp......which is about 165 degrees according to my temp gauge.

I think its just the grid heaters. maybe one of the sensors is reading too cold and letting the grids cycle when they should not.

That is just the grid heaters doing they're job. Mine will do the same thing.
