I am getting a weird vibration at above the 2,000 rpm mark,, now mind you its not bad and I know its not the tires as it will do it in any gear. Another thing I know it is not nothing to do with the trans as it was put in just a few weeks ago and it did it before that to. It is really noticeable when you step on it really hard. I have been told it could be the harmonic balancer,, but my local cummins shop isnt sure about that. They say it could be alot of things and want me to bring it in for them. I really dont want to do that as they may say its this or that and keep trying things till they find it and I get a huge bill. Anyone know what could be causing this? Any info would be appreciated. first of all, is it a driveline vibration or an engine vibration? in other words does it do it at 2200 parked?
