valve body installation ?'s
valve body installation ?'s
have been researching what i can do to upgrade my stock trans rebuilt about 15k ago. I was thinking of installing a new valve body from DTT but they want $450. I've been reading about the transgo shift kit and think that is the route i'm going to go. my questions are about installation. how complete was the transgo kit and how were the instructions. when i was speaking with the fella from DTT he said there was another part (forget the name) that i should think about installing with the valve body that stopped some sort of normal internal leak by firming things up further. Does the transgo shift kit cover this? i've searched and found nothing but does anyone have any pics or write ups on the trans go install?
thanks
thanks
No it doesn't.
I did the transgo kit, about 100,000 miles ago.
I can't get the shifts the way I want them.
I'm tired of draining good fluid to tweek it.
I just ordered a VB for DTT.
A friend has one and his truck shift so much better.
My advice is to do it once and do it right.
