Value of Truck

Great site. Really enjoy reading the responses posted, learned a lot.
Maybe you all can offer some advice. I have a 98 12V that is in excellent shape with 107M miles. It has a Banks Stinger system , hard top cover, and chrome step ups as only mods. I'm thinking of selling and getting new one. What do you think I should ask for my Truck?
Oh, it's a 4x4 with auto and most of the options that were offered at the time.Club cab.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I would look at what the market is holding for your area. There are a couple of ways to do this. Look in the paper to see what they are going for. Also there are a few car sites that sell used cars.

autotrader.com
cars.com
ect

Then come up with your price. You will be suprised at how much they sell for. I was.

Thanks Gunracer1 . It's a Club Cab with no rust anywhere. It's been very well cared for. Thanks for your input.

Mine is a club cab 3500 4x4 CTD with 4 doors, 150k Texas truck sold in Missouri in June 2004 for 15,750. Another almost identical truck in this area( the only two I found available) with 100k was priced at 19,995.

I don't know about your area, but around here a shortbed 12 valve is like gold. Nobody has them and everybody wants them. I sure wouldn't underestimate the value of a fairly rare truck. If you are not in a big hurry to sell I am sure you can get all of kelly retail, which is pretty much unheard of, around here anyway.

Matador, the best mileage I've achieved so far is 15.944 general driving empty, no trip. 11 to 11.8 pulling 8000+ travel trailer. It has a heavy Ranch hand Front bumper, hence no lower air dam. Poop sheet shows 3.55 axle 4x4. Weight with my 220# behind is 8100# on our local grain truck scale. I'd like to do better but probably need to advance timing..maybe soon if I find some timing tools.

Charlie
I just advanced mine last week about 2.5 to 3 degrees. I will let you know if it helps mine when I get a chance to get it out on the road.
