you have two factory options:
- the short/flat outlet thats a hair over 2.5" ID (94-98?)
- the 98-02 cast elbow that i think youre describing

otherwise there is aftermarket

I know many people will say different but switching to a larger exhaust with the stock turbo and stock injection system will actually hurt drive ability. You will lose low end torque. The difference is noticeable. You only benefit from larger exhaust if you plan to run a different turbo or run higher RPM with HX35. Higher RPMs are sort of moot with a stock automatic transmission.

I am not sure of part numbers but you can buy flange and elbow then weld them however you want.

I have the turbo elbows you speak of in my shop. They clamp on the back of the turbo then two bolts hold them to the exhaust down pipe flange.

U2slow,
I was picturing he had the ‘98-‘02 style. Which is expensive through Cummins.
Not the version you had a link too that bolts on too the back of the turbo with 5[?] bolts

I have several of the ‘98-‘02 style, which I believe he needs.

I got the bolt-on one from an '02 (7-blade hx35) and the clamp on style (2-piece) from 94-95.
