Trying To Install 300 Gpk Now
Trying to install 300 gsk in my 95 ram , read TST instructions and they make it look so easy !! If you look at their photos they have a cut away for photos purposes but in the real world the springs are 4 inches in cavity and there is a shaft directly over top of it . How are you for starters to even see in there to read Vernier ? Have above avg mech ability and if someone could give me advice it would be greatly appreciated ! And yes I read many other post but it seems my pump is different than what was posted .

Down on the side of the pump, below where you are showing. There is an allen plug, about 1 1/4" in diameter. Take that out to replace / set spring depth. It's still a bear but doable. Be carefull to watch for shims beneath the springs. They often stick to the springs because of the oil film. Then drop off as you remove springs.

Thanks and I used the cardboard tube method worked great!! NOWHERE in my TSt instruction paperwork does it instruct you to remove solenoid and remove plug with 7/8 socket , that other thread does but not TST!! *** - TST????
Maybe too late but these instructions are the best http://pacbrake.com/PDF/L5658.PDF
