Yesterday I replaced that small fuel line behind the fuel filter as it was leaking. I started the truck with no problem after I put everything back together and had no problems with it. This morning it would not start at all. So I have several questions. 1. If I turn the key to the "on" position, should I hear the fuel pump working before I even start the truck? 2. I tried opening up the bleed screw on top of the fuel filter and priming it, but that did nothing. I am also hearing a small amount of air coming out somewhere when I pump the primer. Could this be coming from the transfer pump, and if so how can I tell if that is in fact where that air is coming from? I guess that's it for now. I hope that is enough information and I hope that someone can help!! Thanks

 

i know you shouldn't hear the pump working when you turn the key on, its driven off of the motor and dosen't pump unless the motor is turning.
