Truck bumps/jumps when I put into gear
Truck bumps/jumps when I put into gear
Here's the deal:
I have a new/reman NV-4500, newer SB con O 13in with new flywheel, new pilot bearing, new throw out bearing, New SB Master/Slave combo. Still when I push in clutch, and push in to gear, the truck bumps foward, not a lot, but enough to feel and see if you watch close. This happened with both reman trans that have been installed. All the reman trans I have had in here are slightly hard to get into gear. For first gear, I usually drop into 2nd then go to first. Similar for reverse(go to 5th). Has correct fluid and it is full. The only things I haven't replaced are the Bell housing and the clutch fork(and stud ball it mounts to). The trans reman shop said that they had a dodge diesel in the shop one time with a bell housing that was warped, not enought to see, but they installed a new one and PRESTO......it shifted smooth. They said that since it was warped, it wouldn't let the shift fork, bearings, and clutch to work properly.
My other option is to replace the clutch fork, maybe it is bent?
Any suggestions? On what to do or look for?
THanks in advance.

Its the clutch fork. Its not letting the clutch releas all the way. Or if the SB M/S is adjustable on the master (like on the 07 kit) you may not have it adjusted out enough and its not releasing all the way.
I'll try anything at this point.
The Slave/master is not adjustable on this model. I suppose I should try a different clutch fork and see. Probably put new pivot ball and throw out bearing in too. Any comment on the warped bell housing?
Thanks for the help.
