trans leak at tail housing
ok i've replaced the output shaft seal 2 times and still have trans fluid
pouring out of the adapter housing between the trans and tcase
the truck is a 95 auto 4wd reg cab it seems to be pressure related.
if i start it up in park no leak i pull forward or backup or leave it in neutral
it starts pouring out off the lower grove[vent in the adapter housing.
thanks in advance.

I'd seal it up like the old transfer cases did, right at the flange with some good RTV.
It doesn't pump fluid to the cooler circuit in park so that why your not getting the oil leak in park.
How do the sealing surfaces look? Any play in the bearing on the trans for Tcase? How do the seals look when you take them out? Any damage on them.

old seals looked good , and bearings had no plays and no grove on the input of the tcase. it had rtv on it when i got 2 it, so it looks like this has been a problem before. whats strange is i ran it on the rack for about 2 minutes
i ran it in foward up to 60 then stoped ranit in reverse for alittle bit and no leaks.then i put it on the ground checked the trans fluid[added 2 quarts].
waited a minute or 2 looked underneath and it was peein.
