trans/egt temps
I just put a new turbo on and can't get my egt down(run 1000 to 1100)going up small hills,could my trans sliping cause a problem.Was ok before stock turbo blew.and how long can i run it with egt at 1000,to long and truck starts to over heat.Had to put in 4lo (axle unlocked)when pulling bobcat on hills

Your trans might be slipping. Hows the trans temp?
the moderators should have bumped this to the 12V section, probably get a better response. Us 24V don't seem to have an answer for you.

Then again, probably belongs in drivetrain, moving it on over.
That's pefectly normal EGT for small hills, 1300 is where you have to start worrying.
Trans temp will affect coolant temp, you need a trans temp guage.
