My 47re is having lockup problems. It will shift 1,2,3 fine then it takes till about 55-58mph at 2700rpm to shift to 3rd gear lockup. It will stay in 3rd lockup for about 2 seconds then go to 4th lockup. Anyone ever had this problem? Transmission was rebuilt in February. Has new tv cable and governor solenoid put in in April.

I had a new tps put in when I had the transmission rebuilt. It still is showing a tps code though.

Infidel, you nailed it. It took the transmission guy 3 weeks and he just looked at the throttle linkage today and said it was wobbling.

 

I adjusted my throttle linkage and it did the same thing, very delayed shifts. Once you get that dog leg linkage adjusted to 5" it will hook up in OD at 45MPH
