Batteries
Batteries
When I get to changing out my batteries for this winter, I was wondering if anyone ever just put in one battery instead of the two, like the trucks had in 93 and earlier.
Just wondering.
Thanks

The reason for two batteries is the large draw of the heater grids in the winter. Many, in warmer areas of the country , have reduced to one battery. Do a search. Old threads on this in here, I believe.
Go ahead replace one and in six to eight months you will have to replace both and before this happens you be wondering whats happening with all the electrical problems going on in you truck. Good clean voltage runs your electronics poor voltage makes it die!!!!!!
