tps sensor
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...&highlight=tps You can drill two holes and try the fast dry dielectric cleaner and reseal the holes if you do not want to seperate, it works great. Goodluck,,Rick
Cleaning buys some time but eventually they have to be replaced.
I've had to finally replace my tps with a new ones twice over 225k.
My original stocker required cleaning every 5k starting at around 15k but at 75k cleaning didn't help anymore.

I have used both ways to clean them, and several that have been cleaned both with holes and seperated, I think the trick to lasting is when seperated use some dielectric grease and lube them up when going back and seal them up good. Goodluck,,Rick
I opened mine and cleaned everything LIGHTLY with some sandpaper including the ends of the "fingers". I then added a light coat of di-electric grease inside and sealed it all up. So far (about 6 months) it has been working great!!
The previous owner had the truck for 6 years and replaced the TPS once and it has never shifted as good as it does now. I don't know how long it will last but for now I would say give it a try!
