Torque Converter Lockup Switch for (1995) Ram
I need to have another look at the black orange wire and see why my tc won`t lock in OD off setting > I thought I would have a normal working tranny and have lock when I want it in the lower gears(1 , 2) I will have to look at this again and see if I have the later dated set up. Thanks Don T

I found the issue with my TC lock up switch. I had bought a switch that would light (led) when the TC was locked. It seems this switch was feeding back to the trans controller and messing up the signal. I disconnected the power to the led bulb and its now working correctly . Thanks guys for all your help to date. Later Don T
On my 98 if I left the line with switch on in "D" (o/d on or off) it would lockup when it hit 2nd, and stay locked in through 4th. Could never be locked in when selected in 2nd or 1st. So with foot off throttle I couldn't maintain lockup in 2nd, with just a shift kit.
I now have lock in 1st 2nd Drive with OD off and lock in od. I had to stand on the brakes today and drug the back wheels and stalled the truck at 55 mph.The lock up switch works for me now and I can`t wait till its fiver season again. Monday I find out why my abs and park lights are on all the time and then I won`t lock up the back wheels when trying to stop fast. Later Don T
