i'm new around here so if this is posted in the wrong place please let me know

I was wondering if any one had the specs on the 6842 Dial Indicator Adapter such as the thread dia and pitch.(for the p7100 bosh pump)
i have a few adapters lying around and was thinking one might work without having to spend the $$$
by the way if anyone has found a deal on the whole kit or just the delivery valve socket i sure would like to hear.

 

I think you can take an old oil drain plug drill a hole in it vertically for the dial indicator and then one horizontally for a set screw to hold the dial indicator in and you have your adapter. Or just measure your oil plug and see if you have one that matches.
