is there a common part that let's go in the throttle assembly?
I'm currently idling down the hwy in 5th gear trying to get home, doing a little over 20mph bc something let go b/t the pedal and injector pump. the cable still moves the arm on the pump but it's dark and thats all I could see. need to fix this to get to work in the AM. thanks

 

sounds like something fell off inside the pump. itll prolly need to come off and be serviced by a pump shop

 

It could be the long linkage rod that came off. Its easy to speculate on our end, you'll need a light to see it, should be pretty obvious if its an external linkage problem.
