Afternoon, DTR...


Today I noticed white/blueish smoke coming out of my exhaust when I let off from a hard run... It just wisps out for 3-5 seconds. ???? This tank is JP-5 with about 2 oz of two stroke per gallon, and maybe a little waste peanut oil from the fryer... filtered, of course.


Truck seems to be running fine. No loss of power, idles fine, nice and smooth. I may have been a little liberal with the 2 stroke, but it makes me nervous that it is doing it when I let off.

And... It did not do it when I just took a ride. That either means that it was nothing serious, or I'm going to mash a valve into the top of one of my pistons...

 

i would have to say it is too much 2 stroke i would run this tank and then just add 1 quart to a full tank. so half as much as your using now. and go from there. i dont thinkyour gonna throw a valve but you ahve been flirting with disaster on the stock bolts and head gasket lately havent you? haha but you can put a price on cool.

Yeah, I have a lot of crap in this tank. Runs strong, tho.

Man, I'm always one good run away from melting a piston... play=pay!
