I know that I should already be aware of this but is there any thing that voids the TSB on the cable from the foot feed to the pump? It is on a 94.<br>CHase

 

Not that I am aware of, that throttle cable recall is a concern because of a safety issue. The cable can fray and break causing you to lose control of the engine speed.<br><br> DC wants it fixed as well to keep them from being liable for damages. You can call DC on their customer hotline and they can look up the truck via the vin# and tell you if the cable has ever been fixed under the recall. A dealer can also find this out for you.
