Throttle Cable Problems
My father owns a 96 chassis cab 3500 5 spd 4x2 with 318,000 miles. We use it to pull a gooseneck trailer hauling either a backhoe or a small bulldozer. The throttle cable fix was done on it at about 300,000 miles, but now it is behaving worse then ever before. It is almost impossible to maintain a steady speed with out the truck starting to buck violently. This is extremely aggravating. It has been taken to our local dealer twice, they adjust the cable, it works fine for awhile, and then goes back to being very touchy. Anyone experience this problem, or know of a simple way to fix it?

Matt
