I replaced my temperature sending unit behind the block of my 1996 12v Cummins that was in the coolant hopping that would make my gauge work. Started it up and still the guage will not budge. Does anyone have this problem or know what to do....Replacing the guage is near imppossible because all the guages are cluster wired and I would have to replace the whole dash. Thanks alot.

 

Nowdays the first place to look for electrical problems is any new parts.
Many are bad out of the box.
Buy the sender from Cummins.

 

It was a wire under the hood broke
