Hi All,

Any thoughts on this setup? a little much (my wife asks if it is really worth it )

I am ding the last finishing touches and it seems to work good with the truck on jacks simulating it

Cheers

That looks pretty awesome! I'm certainly no electrician, but I might have to give that a try on my truck (with some help from someone who knows more about electricity). Thanks for the diagram!

Thank you much, I was considering a similar setup, you saved me quite a bit of thinking. I had especially wanted a system that would indicate when the TC was locked no matter which mode the lockup switch was in, this foots the bill.
Any specs on the buzzer?

Do you mind if I share your diagram on other websites?

Pretty impressive, Mine has a green led for "normal" stock mode and a red light for "locked" mode, I included an unlocked mode if needed. No buzzer though-nice touch. My design only uses two leds and on DPDT switch from Radio shack, total cost 10.00

Geez, I re-read my post, I got to check my spelling before I post

The Buzzer is from a local electronincs place, pick your noise level to suit. I think mine is 2.4 KHZ??

I considered putting an electric prod under the passenger seat as an option, that would get my attention for sure

Infidel, I have got my fair share of info here, so feel free to share, Its always nice to be able to give back.

Cheers

OK, tried it all out today and worked great.

If you manually lock the TC witht he switch:

If you are in 3rd or OD with TCC locked and "touch" the brakes the horn comes on momentarily, TCC stays locked. In drive below about 40KM/HR the horn is "on" telling you something is wrong...Unlock the switch!!! same in OD but speed is about 70 KM/HR.

One Burp though... The throttle has to be pressed to about 1050rpm to move the TPS sensor enuf to make the PCM believe there is a little throttle and not to unlock the TCC... if you don't the horn is on all the time the throttle is released, however the TCC is still locked.

I will have to look into this and see if I can do alittle something, look forward to revision 1 to the drawing.

It may take me a week as I will be outatown

Cheers

I have been driving the truck in this config and pulling the fiver with it and am very pleased with the results. I did not put in the RED light, however the buzzer I put in is more that enuf to let you know that your switch is in the locked position (and TCC locked) and the truck is saying UNLOCK

Cheers
