Tanny ID Help?

Recently purchased 12v w/auto. I am trying to identify which type of tranny manufacturer this maybe. I was told it had a shift kit, different valve body, torque converter, etc.. The drivers side of the tranny is shaved and stamped with the following:

#5 PK52119519AA 3233 2069

Any help would be appreciated.

Also Dr Performance did the injectors and pump. The last owner said something about phase 4 for injectors and pump. He couldn't remember which fuel plate#.
Any advice on Dr Performance? Or is it complete crap?

Thanks,
Greg

I can tell you its a dodge trans and if its a 94 or 95 it will have a 47RH and if its a 96 to 02 it will have a 47RE.

It's a 98 tranny. Apparently been beefed up. Triple clutch, valve body, torque converter. Previous owner doesn't remember if it's a DTT or ATS, etc.... I was hoping to identify by someway on the exterior casing. The stamping is all I found.

an ATS is purple/has a purple tourque converter with a billit face. You will see this when you pull off the four bolts on the inspection cover between the tranny/engine. Dr. performance has a shop in Helena (or sell Workhorse moduals- I heard they changed names) and Dave Smith used to install them in ID. Other than that, hello from the other side of the hill...(Kalispell) bruce

I have heard good things about Dr Per. stuff- do you smoke much?

oh hell ya I smoke. I don't think Dr Performance is a real specialist in diesels. I have heard he is kind of a hack. I'm looking to get his stuff removed and go with someone else. As far as my torque converter I removed the inspection cover and it is light gray. I'm still trying to identify which type of tranny this maybe. As it is heavily modded. The previous owner said it was bullet proof. I'm just suprised he couldn't remember who did it? Go figure. Anyway thanks for the info. It has been a great informational site. I also use TDIclub.com site as I own a VW diesel. It's great to have all these good forums.

Yeah I found out Dr Performance is complete garbage. I found that out after I bought the truck. Luckily it's a 12V and can be corrected without too much pain. The guy is a hack for sure.
