Takes multiple crank cycles to start...

Hey everyone,

Been having this problem for the past couple days, and it only happens to me sometimes. I have to crank the motor maybe 3-4 different times before it finally fires up. I just replaced the start not too long ago too. It spins fast but just never actually hits. The batteries look pretty nasty with gung (dang replacement ends) is this maybe the culprit? The only other thing I am thinking is that it isnt getting fuel and it takes power cycling it a couple times for the fuel pump to pump enough fuel in the system to start (Need a new fuel pump?) Strangley though, it didnt do it this morning.....Any ideas?

Your probably sucking air, take a look at the rubber lines between the IP and the firewall.

I had a buddy with a 96 that acted the same way. His had a bad (swollen) fuel line. I'd check the filter and lift pump first.
