Tachometer

Still new, still learning but can anyone tell me how/where to connect a tachometer to set the idle speed. I've heard not to use the dashboard meter as it's not accurate enough. Any help appreciated. Keep up the great site.

Paul

Re:Tachometer

I have used the factory tach more than once to set idle speed. It costs some coin for a digital tach. Snap-On makes a digital tach - MT139A. It will be accurate, but in this case, the expense might not be worth it.
John

Re:Tachometer

Thanks John. Didn't know if there was an easy way or an exspensive way. Sounds like the latter.

Paul
