Stock Governor Spring Specs.

Does any one have Specs on where to set the retainer nut for stock settings, or is every pump different? The reason I ask is because I tried doing the washer mod and the pump "hung up" so i retuned it back to stock but the first nut I took off, the clicks didn't get counted accuratly. So I made sure to count the second one "right" and put them both back on to what the second one was origanally. It seems to run fine and Idle like it did before, but I am a worry wart.

If it is running fine , then you got them spot on , no need to worry

Thanks guys, it's just that after you tinker with something you always end up second guessing yourself.

Its not like there are any torque specs when installing the spring kits. As long as they are in there and the truck starts and idles correctly you are good. Nothing should be coming apart, as long as you put it back the way it came out, if that is what you are worried about.

That's what I am worried about, I only know for sure how the second retainer nut was positioned, so I set them both back to how the second retainer nut was origanally located at 5 clicks. But I would imagine that both would have to be the same amount of clicks in and it doesn't matter how many clicks that is as long as it Idles?

Factory setting may be a click different from side to side. As long as the truck runs the same I wouldn't sweat it.

Installing a GSK may require a lot of fine tuning with amount of clicks to get the proper throttle response & minimize flutter.
