smelling coolant

AC works fine, truck doesnt over heat, heat works fine.

When hot out, from time to time, I catch a whiff of anti freeze.
No oil in the radiator, no coolant in the oil.

Cant find a leak.

Where could the smell be?

Check up by the front of the head on the passenger side below the thermostat housing. I have 2 here that do the same thing from time to time, little whiff of coolant when hot every once in a while. Same spot on both of them, up under the thermostat where head meets the block.

Check the front corner #1 and the back corner #6 for a weep from the head gasket, these are two known spots for leakage. Also may want to get a mirror and check the big frost plug in the back of the head and the temp sender as well.

Is the smell inside? It could be a leak from the heater core.
