safe boost pressure?

safe boost pressure?

right now i run about 30 - 34 psi on a stock head gasket. a friend of mine said he has ran up to 50 oh his stock head gasket... has anyone actually blew a stock head gasket? and at what psi were you running?

Yes, at 58psi on an HX40. They say the hx35 is only good until about 35psi and then its pumping hot air. Boost isnt really what kills head gaskets its drive pressure that does the damage.

That is the top end of it's effiency.

As well as cylinder pressures.
