?s about my 12 valve tuning

I swapped a 12 valve into my 2000 superduty . Iv slid the AFC housing all the way forward and turned the star towards the engine , the truck responded well it has WAY more power , my question is will that make fuel milage decrease? I have a fuel leak also it appears to be dripping from the gasket between the lift pump and the block , is this common? ok last question my truck is making 50psi of boost with the wastegate welded shut and stock turbo is this right or is the timing retarded i hear that can cause this ? its a 96 cummins with the 47re transmission behind it .

AFC mods will only make the fuel mileage decrease if you are hot rodding around. In steady state driving, you will get the same mileage you will before.

Is your truck making oil? A bad lift pump can dump fuel into the crank case and knock the bearings out of it. Lift pumps are pretty cheap ($100 or less in some places), so if its dumping fuel, would be a good idea to replace it.

50psi is asking for trouble. Increases the risk of shattering the compressor wheel and sending little bits down the tube to the engine. In order for you to be making that much boost, there has to be more mods than just sliding the AFC forward and adjusting the starwheel. Is the tranny stock?
