I have found the photos of the TPS repair and put them in my gallery
1) remove tps from engine
2) drill a hole 1/4" from the bottom of the cover with a 1/8" bit keep the drilling shavings outta the tps
3) spray contact cleaner into the hole and work the shaft
4) seal the hole with silicone
5) install the tps back onto the engine
6) if needed adjust the tps voltage

Its been almost a year since I did this TPS repair and its still working like it should.....this is a simple fix for a costly part that causes allot of engine RPM hunting problems by locking and unlocking the torque converter

I assume you have a 24 valve
Clean all the ground points and check the PCM, pump & APPS connectors.
What have you replaced?
Checked fuel pressure?

rpm spike

took my truck to turbo electric . he said it showed a transmission code ,but he didn,t know about transmissions. so took it to dodge dealer ,he scanded it and said that jiffey lube put the wrong air filter in it and it was starving for air .he also said it showed a turbo wast gate code, another 140.00bucks,sofar i spent 600.00 on transmission, 1800.00 on fuelinjectors an pump" dodge dealer" , 800.00 to put new seals in axels.i guess i,ll go to a/m turbo tomorrow and see how much they want. know wounder why people buy toyotas.

The first thing anyone with a hunting trans (47RE )should do is the noise filter.
The electrical noise on these trucks is terrible. I guess I should qualify this a little more. Hunting in OD or the lock-up.
