Royal Pruple ????
Royal Pruple ????
Anyone using this in their 5 speed? This was reccommended to my by a local transmission shop that has used it sucessfully in both the GM and Dodge NV4500.
But as always, somehow I prefer the opinion of the people here over someone trying to sell me their product.
Not a bad price at $8.50 a quart. Has a GL4 and GL5 rating. Contains the limited slip additive for use in out axles also.

A good friend of mine on a nascar team, tested most of em.....he doesn t like royal purple at all. Given they run different use but he is a drivetrain guy and they spent a few bucks in just testing. Viscosity, temp, drag etc....He likes mobil one and they are not sponsered by them.
