Rough At Idle Delv. Valves

Hey have'nt been for a while but need some help. With the mods i have timming, injectors, turbo, 10k plate and exh. The truck ran good 15.24 in the quater first time for truck and me. I put some delv. valves from ddp 20 HP more than 191s. the truck idles kinda rough but she will smoke and go great. Any thing will help.

Larger DVs are not user friendly.
You were not told of the consequences? If you don't like it send them back.

Thanks but there is a reason that they are rough. There are too many out there with no problems for me to have a problem. I don't know if 18 1/2 timming will help or slidding plate 3/4 forward still looking and trying. THANKS

Is it just the rough idle you question?
Which injectors do you have? Which pump?

Actually, fill in your signature.

Yes just rough idle did'nt have it until i installed delv. valves. Slid my plate 3/4 forward and adj. star wheel still rough idle but more responsive. truck runs great except at idle.

Hmm 370's are not idle friendly either. Smoke & stink come to mind.
My thought is to go back to the 191 DVs. The 94-95 pumps need bigger than stock DVs, but there is always ... too much.
Higher timing may help your idle and will increase the top end, but you loose on the bottom end.
The plate & AFC tuning probably did more for the truck than the new DVs.

Thanks i think this weekend i will take timming up to 18 1/2* and see how she does. If it dose'nt work then i will get some 191 dv. and sell or trade the ones i bought from DDP. Hope these work though a little more power with the ones i have in now. Thank you for the ideas.

Went back to site these dv's are DDP-042DV and they compare them to 191's but have lower egt's and less smoke but make 20hp more than 191's. I bought them from ALIGATOR PREFORMANCE. Just some extra info.
