Just recieved that tool today. I'll try it out later when I buy the 4k GSK kit.

Spring compressor 2078 from KD tools is the one I use (they all look close to the same?)
Roll the engine over using the alternator nut (backwards) and watch for any intake valve coming up ( use #2 for example ) the cylinders are in pairs so, 1&6 are a set, 2&5 and 3&4. You roll the engine until the intake valve comes up and you just see its exhaust start to open, STOP. Now, 2&5 are both TDC so you can begin swapping springs on those two. Repeat this procedure for remaining cylinders.

How about the rocker arms? How to you adjust them once the new springs are in?

Lash the exhausts at .020" and the intakes at .010"

And that is at TDC or heel of the cam?

That is on TDC of compression , setting them a little tighter (.008 and .018) is fairly common too
