Question radiator hose replacement

Gents,

I blew the bottom radiator hose today (1994) and I will proceed to put a new one in tomorrow, is there anything special I need to know? I bought the upper and lower, I figured I may as well do both while the coolant is drained... ANy advice would be great! Thanks.

Bredan,
Pretty straight forward use new clamps as well and position them where you can get to them.A nut driver is easier to use.good plan to replace both hoses.run the truck after till the themostat opens and check the coolent again to make sure all the air is out.
have fun

You might as well replace the heater hoses also, including the two short hoses.
