pyro wiring?

Just hooking up my autometer pyro, the thermocoupler and gauge light are hooked up. Now, I'm hoping Ive hooked up the 12v switched power source in the right spot before I test things. The red and black(18-20 AWG?) Black went to ground and I put the red to the 10 amp fuse on the lower side for the radio.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a better place for the switched 12v source???

I used the 20 amp fuse thats used for the cig lighter but you should be fine with that I would think.

I wired mine into the switched wire in the back of the radio.

I had an empty switched location in the fuse bank. It was towards the top of the bank. Who knows my truck didn't have a lot of power options it may have a hole for windows, etc.. But try there
