POS trans

working on third rebuild and my converter bolts won't stay tight. now I need a new flex plate and possibly another converter. can anyone suggest where I can find such parts without getting bentover

Do the bolts in your converter keep backing out?? I would suggest calling Dave Goerend if you need a converter. 100k mile warranty on his single disc, and lifetime on the triple. He will back it up too.

cant help on converter but i dont understand. i cant seem to break either one of mine. 82 is stock except for valvebody, 5.0 sec. band lever and extra springs in 3rd gear clutch pack. oem clutches too.

I purchased a SFI approved flex plate from Piers for about $200.00 delivered. That was cheaper I could get it from the manufacturer, and they are only a few miles away.
