Hello Everyone,

I am wondering if a 2003 Pacbrake could be worked to work in a 97? It is/was used on an automatic and I have a 5speed if that is a factor or not.
I think the seller said I would have to do some creative wiring to fool the control module. Any thoughts if this will work or not?

Sure it will work but you need to change the pipe dia and instead of plugging it to the computer put it into a micro switch on the throttle inside the cab

Hi dieseldemon,

Pipe dia is 3.5" I think my exhaust is 3.5" at the tail pipe end I measured approx. So then the micro switch would trigger the unit to actuate manually from me inside the cab, that sounds good. This switch opens the air line to the brake via something on the compressor or a solenoid? I have not bought the item yet but want to.
