Does anyone happen to know what size socket is needed for removing the big nut holding the timing gear to the pump? Also are the four bolts holding the pump on require any special tools?

After I removed my high pressure lines from my injectors I noticed some fine particles had fallen into the top of the injectors, So I took a can of p. b blaster and sprayed it in there to flush it out. Any thoughts?

Big nut is 30mm. Four nuts that hold the pump to the case are 15mm, universal and extension will be your friend.

I prefer to wipe the crap out of the injector inlets, but as long as it gets out is the main thing.

 

Thank you Tate, I was just concerned if any particles might have made their way deep inside the injector.
