P7100 question

I found a P pump that has the number 0-402-739-909 the 230 HP pump is 911, how much differnce do you think there could be in the 2 digits?

Anyone know, opinions, should I just go for it, it is only $325

FWIW, the 911 pump is a 180 pump, not a 230 pump.

Ya I saw that after you mentioned it, glad I held out for the marine pump though. it has 1000 hours on it and I only gave $300, I like friends that need money, I offered him $500 a couple months ago. Now I need a set of fuel lines.

You will need the specific timing chart for that pump to time it properly. All the timing charts on the net are for the automotive versions and won't work. Industrial pumps have different plungers/lift ratios. Good score!

Go on Competition Diesel and contact Smokem. He can get you the plunger lift values for whatever you time it to. He could probably give you some good info on that pump too. Higher HP pumps aren't always more desirable. Hope it works for you though.

Thanks for the contact info, if it is not a usable pump I can always use it for a core.
